We are committed to protecting our partners and coffee farmers, in part through certifications that hold us accountable. Developping our employees’ skills to support professional growth and foster a positive work environment are equally essential.

Preserving the resources

This pillar reflects our commitment to concrete action toward a more responsible model. We work to reduce the carbon footprint of our activities, notably by managing consumption at every stage, from eco-design of our products to waste recovery. For us, sustainable production also means fighting deforestation and protecting biodiversity, by supporting practices that respect ecosystems and the communities that depend on them.

Labels and Product certifications

The Fairtrade/Max Havelaar label guarantees that coffee has been grown and traded in compliance with social, economic, and environmental standards. It ensures better income, improves working and living conditions for producers, and benefits their communities.

This program integrates the green economy, environmental protection, and social responsibility. Through a collective effort, we strive to improve the livelihoods of small-scale producers while preserving the natural habitat of orangutans by actively fighting against deforestation.

This certification guarantees a specific production system that limits the use of synthetic fertilizers and pesticides while strictly excluding genetically modified organisms (GMOs). This set of agricultural practices respects biological and ecological balances.

PGI (Protected Geographical Indication) guarantees the origin and the specific qualities of a coffee.

Cafés Richard sources coffee from Rainforest Alliance Certified farms to support our commitment to ending deforestation. www.rainforest-alliance.org
